NCFD is always looking for volunteer firefighters and EMRs.

Welcome to the New Chester Volunteer Fire Department

The NCFD (New Chester Volunteer Fire Department) was founded in 1969. Our all-volunteer Firefighters and Emergency Medical Responders spend many hours away from their families throughout the month to ensure that they are able to respond to 911 pages.

The Central Station is Located in Grand Marsh, WI

New Chester Fire responds out of one station centrally located in Grand Marsh. NCFD routinely provides mutual aid to other neighboring Departments. We are a volunteer organization of twenty members. The Fire Station is not staffed during the day. Our members respond from their homes or workplaces 24/7, every day of the year.

The department currently operates two Engines, two Tankers, a Rescue Unit, and two Brush trucks. We work with two ambulance services, FirstStar Ambulance in Adams, and Marquette Ambulance Service in Oxford and Westfield.
